About Me
Samantha Tramack is the Director of Metro Voices and a member of several award-winning quartets, including GQ, 2025 Barbershop Harmony Society’s International 5th place Bronze Medalist quartet.
Samantha boasts a rich family heritage of vocalists, as a fifth-generation barbershopper on her father's side and a third-generation barbershopper on her mother's. She has been a member of Harmony, Inc. since the age of nine and joined the Barbershop Harmony Society (BHS) as soon as she was eligible.
Samantha is an accomplished quartet singer with accolades spanning over 19 years and has performed on all four different parts. She has loved taking the stage with her many ensembles, including Sweet & Sour, Showcase, Sounderella, New Q, Sister Act, and Harmony, Incorporated International Champions Taken 4 Granite.
Before becoming Metro Voices' frontline director, Samantha gained 12 years of experience leading New England Voices in Harmony, the Minor Chords, and Generations Chorus (HI Area 2).
An elementary music teacher in Arlington Virginia Public Schools, Samantha teaches private voice, piano, clarinet, flute, saxophone, violin, and trumpet. She also produces custom learning tracks. Samantha holds a Bachelor of Science in Music Education from Plymouth State University and is currently pursuing a Master's in Music Education at George Mason University.
